Arianna’s POV The city looked different from inside Killian McLeod’s car. Not because it was luxurious, I had ridden in this car countless times for work-related errands, late-night document runs, emergency meetings—but because tonight felt… different. No folders between us. No tense silence loaded with deadlines. No ticking clock reminding me... It was just the road.
