BEFORE YOU

CHAPTER THREE. FATE CHANGES.

It was a bright morning like other mornings though this was quite different from other mornings, Ann woke up frustrated from last night. That night turns out to had been a house party at a friend's house. The party was going on very well until Lamia showed up wearing an exact dress as Ann. That action caused humiliation on the side of Ann because she was seen as the most wealthy girl and now she is compared to a low class girl. Ann at first wasn't disturbed at all by this action until Lamia showed up and started speaking of how she had gone bankrupt. That made Ann very frustrated.

But now it was a new morning, she let pie as pie and moved on with her life. lt was a new week and she had to begin it with a great smile. So she woke up and went for a hot shower and she got ready for school. At school she was welcomed with news that Lamia was wearing a fake dress at the house party. Everyone at school started calling her a fake heiress rumors shattered everywhere and Lamia felt humiliated yet her intention was to embarrass Ann but things turned around. Lamia felt hopeless and no one wanted to get involved with her anymore.

Ann got out of class and moved out for some fresh air. She went to the rooftop of the building and it was where she met Lamia who was full of tears also with a broken heart. Ann came to comfort but she was welcomed by harsh words accusing her for spreading the rumors. but Ann reassured her that she had nothing to do with that. Ann again tried to comfort her and this time she compromising and listen to her. Anna then looked for a way how to stop the rumors so she came out with a plan and she went and got audience from students "Lamia and me wore the same dress because we are friends and we wanted to look like sisters. The dress wasn't fake l myself bought went to the mall and bought these dress and l can assure you that they are all original" she said in a very serious tone.

After that incident Lamia couldn't understand why Ann did that for her. "Was she trying to show off " she said to herself. After school Lamia took the chance to apologize to Ann about yesterday and Ann told her that they are friends even if they have arguments. But who knows Lamia might be planning a revenge but on the out side she shows friendship. All the girls drove back home. When Ann reached home she found a lot of people in the house and most of them are relatives of the wealthy couple so Ann went to her mother and asked what was going on and she was told that the Maye family was expecting a baby .

It turns out that the Mr Maye and his wife had failed to conceive for almost ten years in their marriage so they had been remembered. That day Mrs Maye was not feeling fine so she went to see a physician who gave her the good news that she was pregnant.The news were told to Mr Maye who was so happy after all those years. They called out for a celebration and invited friends and family members. At the party, Ann recognized a playboy who studied in the same class as her. The boy had a great charm and he had many admires especially girls who crushed on her. His name was Benjamin and he had very poor grades the principal was more displeased with him

Benjamin happened to bump into Ann who was moving outside. "So you are soon getting a brother. Ahh well congratulations upon that because you always seemed tired of the loneliness." he said. Ann gave him a cold shoulder and moved on. At school Ann was known as the only heiress to the Maye group. Anyways Ann wasn't disturbed by that because she knows very well that she was not the daughter of the Maye family so expecting a child is a great achievement of the Maye family. Ann however did not know that that was the begining of her down fall as the fake heiress of the Maye family.
