“Fill I can’t find my …” I hear Phoebe and see her at the door
“Wallet,” she says and smiles when she sees me holding in my hand and walking to her
“What I would do without you?” She says and she takes her wallet
“Probably you will still look for your stuff around the house”
“True,” she says and she kisses me.
“I'm late. I will see you later,” she says in a hurry and she turns around
“I love you”
“Love you too baby,” I say and she left
I organized my files and papers and I left for the university too. After we returned from Greece we talked about dates for our wedding but nothing specific yet. We both want to be soon as possible but I have family in Greece that I want to be here. Elpida is pregnant now so for sure she can't travel.
After classes and a coffee I had with colleagues, I went home.
“Hey, sexy. You hungry?” Phoebe says and she gives me a kiss
“Yes. I had only launched and then coffee with the guys”
“Go take a shower and I will set the table”
“Thank you, love,” I say and I smile. I walk to the bathroom and Phoebe to the kitchen.
“It was delicious love, thanks”
“I'm glad you liked it. I getting good at Greek recipes”
“Yes. If you put something in your mind you always succeed”
“Thanks. I like the Greek recipes too”
“Come here,” I say and I give her my hand. She leaves the plates in the sink and she comes to me. She sits on my leg and passes her hand around my shoulder
“I missed you today,”
“I missed you too,” she says and she kisses me
“I had time and I called Elpida today”
“And how are they?” I ask
“They are fine and the baby is healthy” She starts talking about Elpida and the baby as I kiss her softly on her neck
“I had an idea”
“Tell me,” I say not stopping kissing her
“How about getting married in Greece in the summer?” I stop and I look at her
“I don't have many people to invite anyway and your family is bigger than mine. Is not easy to travel with all these people here in America”
“Only that?” I ask raising my eyebrow
“Well, you know I liked the little Church at the beach,” she says smiling
“I remember that you were ecstatic”
“It would be amazing to get married there,” she says excitedly
“If you are sure”
“I am. I like it. You do?”
“Yes. Let's get married there”
“Yes,” she says super happy. We start kissing and soon she sitting on the table with me between my legs
“I have to finish with the dishes,” she says breathlessly and I love how swollen her lips are from my kisses
“I will finish the clean. You go pick a movie and I will be with you”
“You're sure?”
“Yes go,” I say and she gives me a last kiss before she goes to the living room. Of course, we didn't see any movie, so we started making out on the couch until we ended up in the bedroom.
“Wow. You amazed me every time”
“I glad that I satisfy you,” I say to my little fox
“You do. Every time” she says and she kisses me
“How many days do you think you can take off from work for the Christmas holidays?”
“I have almost a week. Why? Where are you thinking to go?”
“I have never been for Christmas in New York City”
“We can go. I've been once in college. It will be great to go with you”
“Good. I will look for hotels”
“Tomorrow. Let's sleep now”
“Ok, foxy. Good night”
“Good night sexy. Love you”
“I love you too,” I say and I kiss her head. I wish we were always like that.
Christmas holidays
New York. Favorite. Unique. My weakness is great. If you can plan it, a trip to New York at Christmas is worth it at least once in your life. New York City is on the list of best destinations every year, but it is uniquely beautiful at Christmas with all the lights and snow. Known for its market, you think you want to buy the most likely place on the planet to find it in New York. So if you are thinking of Christmas shopping, New York is a great place to find unique gifts as well as find everything on your wish list.
“Oh we have to go there,” Phoebe says and points to the book of all the places you have to visit in New York City
“They say that if you want to see the best view of New York the best Skydeck is the One World Observatory.”
“Ok. Where else?” I ask
“Another attraction that brings many tourists to New York during the holidays is the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, a Broadway-style show by the famous Rockettes with the famous choreography and high-kicks at the even more famous Radio City Music Hall.”
“Let's...” I try to say but she cuts me
“I have not finished! New York at Christmas is endless” she says and she starts saying the places that she wants to go to. We sit in a small beautiful cafe and continue talking about our tour in town.
“Anyone who has not seen The Nutcracker from the New York Ballet, which only goes up for this period, does not know what the Christmas spirit will say.”
“You want to go?” I ask her eyes shining
“Yes”
“Ok. I want to see everything too. Is it my first time in New York City and during Christmas? My favorite holiday. Let's see what we can do in the time we have” I say and she smiles
“Ok. Let's see” she says and we start looking at the book and making a program.
By a miracle, we find tickets for New York Ballet and other places.
The days in New York City were amazing, we returned to Chicago for the new year and we went to Phoebe's parents. After dinner, I and Phoebe sit on the couch and talk about random things
“So you close a date?” Clair, Phoebe's mom asks
“Yes, in July. We have already talked with Mario and Elpida. We will have the party at the hotel. And he has booked the hotel rooms for the guests”
“Everything is ready.”
“Great. I missed Greece. Don't you Josh”
“Yes, I did. I missed how free and relaxed we felt”
“I have never been to Greece. It would be a great opportunity. Right Christin” her husband Alan asks her
“Yes it will be awesome,” she says calmly but her eyes burning with jealousy
“It's time,” Clair says and we start counting
“Four, three, two, one Happy New Year“ we all shout
“Happy New Year love,” I say to Phoebe holding her close
“Happy New Year baby,” she says and we start kissing. Our new year begins so well...
