Casandra awoke the next day well past 11:00 a.m. She was surprised her dad didn't ask her where she'd been all night or who she was with, but she figured it was better he didn't. She wondered if maybe he was beginning to accept the fact that she was a woman and not a girl anymore. She rolled over in bed and laughed at the idea. No, she knew she'd always be a girl to her dad. She didn't care so much as long as he did not pry.
She decided it was time to get her day started, though. She remembered that she told Lakis she'd meet up with him today to figure out more about how she can help him “redeem himself" as he put it. She still felt a sense of disbelief about everything that was going on, but she was also enjoying it immensely. She thought about what her friends back home would've though
