"Is everything alright?" I asked BJ after everyone had left.
"Of course, everything is alright, Flower. Why would you ask that?" BJ asked. It was almost ten at night, and we were in our room getting ready for bed. Lilly was in her room getting ready for bed as well.
"Because you were in your office with your father for a while. I just wanted to make sure that everything was okay," I replied. BJ pulled me to him with a smile on his face and kissed the top of my head. "We were just talking about the companies. Dad asked me if I was ready to take over Mitchell's INC," BJ said, as if it wasn't a big deal.
"Really, that's great," I said. BJ had told me how he couldn't wait to take over the company.
"Yeah, it is," BJ replied.
