I couldn't believe what the Doctor was saying. I could tell by the look on BJ's face he was just as shocked as I was.
"But I am on birth control," I said
"Yes, but you told me that the two of you had s*x unprotected before starting the birth control pill. Also, if you missed a pill, you could also become pregnant. I believe you became pregnant before starting the pill," The Doctor said
"But you gave her a pregnancy test before she started taking the pill two weeks ago," BJ said
"I believe it was a false negative. I want to do an ultrasound before you leave. It will give us a better idea of how far along you are in your pregnancy," The doctor said as a nurse walked in, rolling an ultrasound machine.
