At breakfast Asher told Petra that Starlight would be coming that evening. Petra was delighted.
“We need to have a proper dinner, lots of different things. I will think of a menu.” Petra stopped for a second and looked thoughtful. “I know, we have a creative space today, I will get everyone to come up with a meal. Dad, can you get the food shop at work to deliver please? It has to be fresh and hot; Starlight likes that.”
“I will ask but I will need to give them some notice, and they may not be able to support us. They have a lot of customers that they have to feed before us.”
Petra smiled at me with the full confidence that if someone as important as her father asked for something it was as good as done. Flattery works.
