Chapter 7

923 Words
The next morning, I wake up and Damian had his arms wrapped around me. I really had to pee, but he was still sleeping and I didn't want to wake him. I looked over at the clock on my nightstand. It was 10:57 am. I was so late to school, there was no point in going anymore. I tried to push his arm off, but every time I tried, he pulled me in closer to him. My phone then started ringing. I couldn't turn over to reach it, but I saw that it was Aspen. I forgot to tell her I got back last night. 's**t!' I thought to myself. "Damian," I tried calling him to wake up. "Hello?" someone says as they open the door to my room. "Ah!" Aspen yells surprised. It was her and Aiden. They quickly turn around when they notice that we were basically naked in bed. I was only wearing my bra and panties, and Damian in his boxers. Damian finally wakes up and looks around. He notices what was happening, and drops his head back onto the pillow. "Go away Aiden," Damian yells at Aiden from the pillow, in his groggy voice. "It's mom back home. She has been trying to reach you." Aiden says still turned around facing the door. I put the sheets over us so that they could turn around. "You guys can turn around now," I said to them. Damian takes his arm off me and turns around to look at Aiden. I quickly get up, put on Damian's shirt that was on the floor, and head towards the bathroom. I use the toilet and start to brush my teeth. As I am rinsing my mouth, someone walks into the bathroom. I look through the mirror and it was Aspen. "OMG! Y'all did it, didn't you?" she asked freaking out. She was acting like a schoolgirl finding out all the drama. "Don't be nosy!" I said with a grin and continued to wash my face. "Fine don't tell me. But I came to tell you that I have all my things packed," she said. "Good," I said rinsing the soap off my face. "Are you not going to pack?" she asked me. "I am not going," I said. "What do you mean you're not going?" Damiam busted in through the door, looking furious. He had put on his jeans from last night and was still shirtless. Maybe because I was wearing his shirt. "I-Imma go," Aspen said feeling awkward, and ran out of the bathroom. I just continued to do my morning routine and ignored that he was there, looking mad. "Callie," he said. "Look. I can't go. Maybe I could visit, you visit. But I have to stay here. I am Beta of this pack. I am not just going to leave." I said and walked into my closet. "You are coming with me. You are my Luna. What about what you said last night? Does that mean nothing to you anymore? You said that 'I never want to be away from you again' those were your words." he quoted me and followed me into the closet. "Damian. I meant what I said. I don't want to lose you. But just like you have a responsibility to your pack, I have one to Crescent Moon." I said and put on the black leggings I found in my drawer. We were interrupted when Matt came into my room looking for me. "Umm... sorry to interrupt," he said awkwardly. "Matt. Tell Damian that I can't leave with him. I have to stay here." I said walking over and standing beside Matt. "I am sorry, but just like Mia is staying here with me, you have to leave with Damian. We already talked about this." Matt said looking at me. I was shocked. "We who because I am 100% sure that I never had this conversation with anyone?" I asked angrily. "Damian and I. We talked yesterday before you arrived. "Well, I am not leaving!" I yelled. "Yes you are," Damian said, getting pissed off. "You guys can't make decisions for me, especially when I am not even there!" I said. "Callie, I have never had to use this town with you, but I have to. YOU ARE GOING AND THAT'S FINAL!" Matt yelled using his alpha voice. This hurt me. Carly whimpered down and complied. I could tell Matt was sad that he had to use that tone with me. Damian came to try and comfort me, but I pushed him away and took out my suitcase from my shelves. "Are you happy now?" I said with anger in my tone as I looked at Damian. I opened the suitcase and threw everything from my hangars inside. It was somewhat dramatic, but I had to show a point. "Cal..." Matt tried to apologize, but I interrupted him. "If you both don't mind, I want to be alone," I said with anger, but in a respectful voice. They stood there for a minute, then Matt sighed and left. "Callie," Damian said softly as he walked over to me. "I want to be alone, Damian!" I yelled at him. I was on the brink of tears. He obviously noticed because he walked over to me and hugged me tightly. I just fell into his arms as all the tears cried from my eyes. "It's going to be okay," he said trying to soothe me. I just kept crying and crying, not saying a single word.
