They got off the table having finished their food and, along with the guests, moved towards the ballroom, where they were to have their first dance as husband and wife. He led her towards the middle of the ballroom by the hand, and he wasn't being gentle about it either but to others it wouldn't look like that all and that was all that mattered to the man. She scoffed at this before pressing her nails into his hand as well and he turned slightly to glare at her, she just raised an eyebrow at him before subtly gesturing to the public and he loosened his grip on her hand as she removed her nails from his skin. They then began the most awkward dance in the history of dances, yes, she knew how to dance, she was very good at it from what Luke and Bella tell her constantly. All of a sudden his fingers tightened to the point of pain around her waist and her hand was again gripped tightly as he spoke to her in a low voice, "Never challenge me again, I don't care for this attitude of yours, you will either mellow out or I will throw divorce papers in your face faster than you can say no and then you will again be in debt, you wouldn't want that for your precious uncle now would you?" Leilani felt her rage stir at that, she hated her uncle with a passion, she could care less about was the debt he was in, it had been the main reason that had happened, it had been all because of him and the last thing she cared about was helping him with it, she was doing this to save her friend's lives as she's always done before. She remembered the day he had given her a similar threat, the day she had turned 18, she was so elated, she could leave, she was finally free. She had left the house that day with a smile on her face after writing a note and putting it on the fridge for her uncle to read when he got back from another one of his gambling escapades. But then the day after she had celebrated her birthday with her friends, she was spending time in their house whilst they had gone to get some groceries, she'd had a call, an accident had happened and her friends were in the hospital. She had rushed there in a panic to find them both unconscious, random injuries littering their body, she sat by their bedside for who knows how long before she got the call from her uncle. He had said this is what would happen the next time she tries to leave and she had broke down in tears afterwards when she realised she'd never be free. She had went back to him and that night she hadn't even been able to move, he had beat her up so badly that she couldn't even meet her friends to see how they were doing or if they were ok, it was one of the worst nights of her life. "Precious? Ha, that's the last thing he'll ever be." Leilani said in irritation as she pressed her nails into his hand again immediately making him loosen his bruising grip on her before glaring at her angrily as she gave him a sweet smile before "accidentally" stepping on his foot making the grip on her waist decrease as well and she carried on smiling at him as if none of that happened. He gritted his teeth in anger before calming himself down when he realised the amount of people around them watching their every move. "What do you mean?" He then asked out of curiosity. "None of your business. God, what did you expect from me? A coy obedient wife that would bend over backwards to meet all your expectations, do whatever you say without question and waste their entire life trying to make you happy even when it's clear this marriage is the last thing you want, well newsflash for you mister that is not going to happen." Leilani hissed at him but she kept the smile on her face so that the public won't know what was going on. "I had enough faith in my parents to have at least chosen the right girl but it is clear that faith was misplaced, because not only did they make me marry a b***h, no but on top of that, you're a f@#$%&! gold-digger. If you hadn't agreed to this blasted marriage then we wouldn't be here so stop acting like a bitchy teenager and deal with it, you married a f@#$%&! billionaire, the spotlight will be on us everyday. Wherever we are and whatever we do it is all free for the public to view and they are like rabid dogs when they find one bone to share so I suggest you do as I say and act as I see fit because I know more about this life than you do, you're a low class girl you don't know anything about this life but I do, so you better listen to me no matter what I say or my reputation will be screwed, do you understand little girl?" He asked derisively with a serious but mocking glint in his eye and she was utterly pissed, he knew absolutely nothing about her, he had no right to say this s**t but just as she was about to snap back, it was time for the next dance and he smirked at her angry face before letting go of her. He then said, "Enjoy your dance with your father, remember not a word is to go to him, do you understand? You are not to tell your father anything or I'll make sure you never see him again." "Excuse me? What did you just say?" Leilani asked pissed off, even the mention of her father brought her to tears and he had the gall to say that to her. "It's the Father daughter dance now, honestly are you being deliberately dense?" He asked mockingly rolling his eyes subtly. She snatched her body away from him with a slight sheen of tears in her eyes and red flush of anger on her face and he looked at her with a raised eyebrow as if daring her to make a scene conscious of the fact that the guests could see what was happening. "My father is dead you tactless fool." She snapped at him before walking off as he stood there shocked for a moment before staring after her with a slight hint of remorse in his eyes. He immediately reverted back to his usual emotionless self, but for the sake of the image he had to portray as a man in love he gave a lot more smiles an laughs to the public than he wanted to.
