A Few Months later, Joan's aunt and other societal members started criticising thier relationship. Joan tried to distance herself from Benny by using Benny's encounters with other girls as an excuse. Benny's heart started to question Joan's love. She stopped coaching at the school and went outside the city. Joan who hasn't seen Benny for a few days started to worry about her whereabouts. She went to Benny's house and the place she trained but couldn't find her. Her last option was Benny's Father.

I'm here to see your daughter. she said. she's not here. he replied. where is she then? Mr. Asante gave no reply. I need to talk to her. Joan said in tears. I told you not to play with her emotions and you did. She is out of town, but I don't think she'll be back. Why are you here? I thought you told her to keep her distance, she did what you said or it ain't enough for you. Mr. Asante said in an anger tone. Joan went home soaked in tears. She tried calling Benny many times but to no avail. Joan's aunt seeing her in that state was worried. She tried telling her to move on but realised their love was strong. She went to Benny's father for a talk. After the conversation, she pleaded for Benny's whereabouts. She'll be back next week. Mr. Asante said. Joan's aunt went back home. You can't control who you fall Inlove with. Don't let your love be succumbed by the place you find yourself. live your life to the fullest. Joan's aunt said. Joan nodded in excitement.

A week later, Joan went to Benny's house. Benny was surprised to see her. I am really sorry for what I did. Punish me if you want but stop distancing yourself self from me. I can't take it anymore. Joan said and knelt down. Benny smiled to her and said, my forgiveness is yours, let's start a new.
