Zora's POV
I stared at the both of them as they glared at each other. I couldn't help but be confused. What on earth does he mean by Vera having Alita? I thought it was someone else.
Vera smiled and took a step closer to him.
“Fine, I admit it. I'm with Alitalia and it's actually a fine bargain, let her stay with me for today and then you'll have her later.”
Alex growled and clenched his fists, he was almost too close to her for my comfort.
“We don't have to bargain for anything…you'll give me Alitalia now otherwise you'd be sorry for yourself. Did I not say I know all your dirty secrets?”
At point I was lost…why were they threatening each other? Besides why would she want to harm Alita?
