"Turn it on, Man!" Zino said with a laugh, wiping face with his handkerchief shortly after he got into my car.
I frowned, "No. I'm saving gas. Also we have a long drive ahead of us"
"But, you will always have the money to get gas. Or, do you want me to die of heat in this car?" He joked "Turn on the AC, Man"
I exhaled, already tired of his antics. Then, I ignited the engine of the car and switched on the air-conditioning unit.
We sat in silence for a short while, during which Zino scrolled on his phone.
I leaned back on the car seat and let out a harsh sigh.
Zino looked up at me, dropping his phone on his thighs, "Alex? You okay"
I stared straight ahead, not answering him.
