When he came back with a bag, I thought he was angry.
The look on his face showed that he had worked in the sun for a while or he didn't have any sleep. His eyes had dark circles, aside that,he looked good.
As he walked closer, I braced myself for anything he would say. I knew I was mean when he was here an hour ago, but I had every right to be.
He kidnapped me for his crime. Held me hostage. Because of him I got injured, funny how he doesn't seem to care about giving me a pain med again for my head.
"So you got your woman stuff," he said as he dropped the bag in front of me.
He stooped, like he was trying to meet my gaze as I sat on the floor. He would do the same if he was in my shoes. A man and Alex would even do worst.
