Alex scoffed.
The look on his face showed that he didn’t expect me to say that but he didn’t move. Although I could see his arm almost reachable to his gun but I just knew he would not pull it out.
“You know you are putting yourself in danger” he said as if trying to warn me.
I nodded.
“You will hurt me, but you won’t kill me” I whispered in a shaking voice.
My level of confident was beyond what I would ever imagine but I knew it. If Alex wanted me dead, he would have done it. He just looked like he wanted me to fear him, well, I don’t know if I totally fear him
