My mom said, I should try to persuade Charles again to make up and if he still acts annoying, then I should pretend to leave and leave him.
"But, what if he doesn't care?" I asked worriedly. "I don't know what happened, but I'm worried he'll go back to his ex-wife."
"That's impossible. Do you think his ex-wife is stupid? When I attacked her and her father in the hospital, there was a very handsome and dashing man who defended her," my mom said with a sour face.
