It was one of the most important tools in socials and Honor believed it was the key to controlling any social group. It served many purposes, but one was most important to Honor, and that was amplification. Basically, like he had explained to Somtoo; real life was too boring and routinely, and had failed to satisfy people's undying hunger for entertainment. Cinemas on weekends didn't quite cut it, memes were, without doubt, awesome; but entertainment was wanted at all times, and was wanted in such a way that it didn’t disassociate with reality, with everyday life, and that was how amplification of gossip was born.
