My heart drops.
“Who attacked,” I ask Claire.
Her mouth closes instantly. She doesn’t respond.
“She doesn’t need to,” snaps my wolf. Her facial expression tells it all,”
“What are you talking about,” I’m lost.
“Why was this human in the Northern Territory, Seraphina? Or better yet who does this human-like to run with. They,” she huffs. “They,” and she puffs. “They attacked our family,” and she releases a very dangerous growl inside my head, so loud that it brings me down to my knees.
“What do you mean,” I question.
“I’m going to kill them,” growls my wolf. “I’m going to kill all of them,”
“No,” I scream at her, attempting to calm her down.
“Enough is enough, Seraphina! They attacked our people's homes! They attacked our uncle's land.”
“You don’t know that,” I snap
