Cyrus POV. “Wait, what? Please tell me that you really didn’t do that?” asks Speck for the thousandth time. “Yeah, I f****d up,” I tell her for the thousandth time back. “You think,” she says to me once again. This has been our awkward exchange of dialogue for the last past 10 minutes. I’ve filled her in on everything that has happened between Seraphina and I. Everything! I told her about how I found her on the brink of death in the woods. I’ve explained to her how she ran from me and how I chased her. I’ve even told her how much I’ve enjoyed the chase. I haven’t even admitted that to myself. I told her about the rules that I’ve formed out of my foolish attempt to save her and make her strong. Then, I told her about our fight and how broken Seraphina looked. It pained me to admit that
