Chapter 4

By this time the sun was almost set but there was something extremely wrong. "Little Rose...did I hurt you? Are you okay?" Nathan asked me with a extremely worried tone but it was too late.

I looked up and saw the full moon and it was at it's highest peak which only meant I was about to have my first shift. My bones starting cracking and moving, I was screaming under the pain. Nathan realized what was happening and it is common knowledge for us to be by our mates if we know who they are for our first shift because it is painful. "I'm right here baby, you can do this. Only a little bit longer." Nathan tries to comfort me but I know that as a Luna it takes me twice the time it would for a normal werewolf to shift their first time. My skin felt like it was burning as the fur was protruding out of my skin.

You have to let me take over or this will hurt even more. We got this Rena come on, let me take over and heal us(Kai)

3 hours later Nathan's jaw was on the ground. I was a blessed wolf which meant the Moon Goddess specifically blessed me with certain abilities that I'm not aware of yet. Kai is pure white with violet eyes. Everyone knows all white wolves are loved and cared for most by the mother of the moon because she chose us for a very specific purpose.

I was just as surprised as Nathan was. I knew I was special in certain ways and I always felt like I had an angel watching over me but I never thought the Moon Goddess would bless me like this.
