Pirithous’s arrival made everyone, including Gabriel, cautious but Samara was unaware of Pirithous’s twisted mind. Therefore, to warn her, Matty searched the entire mansion and finally found her in the library.
Seeing Samara’s wrecked condition, Matty could not help himself feeling sorry for her. As a friend he was supposed to protect Samara, however, his circumstances did not let him become a savior in the past and even tonight he was bound by his brotherly duties towards Gabriel.
