After leaving Gabriel’s office, Samara decides to visit her friend Amelia.
On reaching Amelia’s room, she finds the door open and Kevin seated in one of the stools with his hands on his face. She could neither see his face nor hear him, as he was muttering something inaudible under his breath. Samara exhales thinking how devastated Kevin must be to find his lover lying lifeless on the hospital bed.
As she takes her first step inside the room, she could see Kevin’s back, as he was facing Amelia’s bed, and could even hear him clearly saying, “Forgive me, Amelia. Please.”
