Waking up next to his beautiful wife, Gabriel’s face lits up. Without waking her, he runs his finger along her right cheek and tucks the loose strand of hair behind her ear. Her clean face, small nose, and rosy lips entice him to have her again, but the thought of hellish duties makes him get off the bed unwillingly. He has a quick shower in Samara’s bathroom and with a towel covering his bottom goes to his room to wear some clothes.
On opening the door, he finds Ruby seated on one of the recliner chairs lost in deep thinking. Gabriel rolls his eyes and walks inside the room.
