Before Samara returned from the hospital, Gavin buried his hands in his hair and glanced around as if looking for answers. The disturbing thoughts were not letting him focus and making him wary. He wanted to help Samara and Amelia, but Samara went to Pinnacle Hospital without consulting him. He would have never let her go there if he knew earlier.  What worried him the most was that she compromised her own safety to save Amelia, which was irresponsible.
