Isaac’s POV My hand went over the door, I knocked once and didn’t hear her answer, then knocked again, and still no answer. I opened the door and my eyes looked for Allison, seeing her behind the desk. Her eyes were glued on her tablet, and the earphones were in her ears. She didn’t notice me enter; I closed the door behind me and strolled towards her. There was a slight frown on her face and her eyes were still focused on the tablet’s screen. I removed her earphones, and she lifted her gaze, meeting mine. “Hey there,” I said, smiling at her. “I’m sorry I didn’t hear you enter,” she said, getting up. The sadness across her face broke me. It reminded me of the day I first saw her. I hated to see her sad. Happiness suited her more. I felt happy whenever I saw her breathtaking smile.
