  Hannah looked uncomfortable but began to rifle through my bag. I stood there, heart pounding but outwardly calm, as she searched. She straightened up after what felt like an eternity, shaking her head. "There's no ring in here."   Elaine's face contorted with rage. "That's impossible! Search her!"
