I was waiting for Tyler to return; with each passing minute, I was only growing more and more restless.

Richard, though he was annoyed by my earlier behaviour, decided now is not the right time to argue about it, he seemed to be genuinely worried about Tyler himself and taken aback by the entire scene that happened earlier. He left in the evening stating that he had some urgent business to attend and promised that he will be back early tomorrow.

Unable to hold up any more I started walking towards Alpha Radolfs house, something in my mind was telling me that Tyler was in danger. As soon as I walked into the house I saw Alpha Radolf and Luna talking with Beta Claytons. Tyler’s mother was in tears.

“I don’t want any damage to the pack, just over some mate bond,” said Alpha Radolf.

But he is our son “How can you just throw him into Dungeons??” challenged  Beta Clayton.

Alpha Radolf left out an angry growl, not liking his decisions being challenged by his own Beta.

Luna said, “We can assure you no harm will come to your son in the Dungeons”. It was only a measure to get the situation under control.

Victoria finally spoke “I would rather kill myself, than leave with Alpha Radolf tomorrow”

“Well you should have at least told us that you both are Mates,” said Victoria's mother.

Processing all the information in my mind, I spoke out even without thinking. “Why don’t we just put Alpha Tristan in Dungeons, how can just a single wolf threaten the entire pack”

All the heads turned towards me. Alpha Radolf was the first to say “What makes you think; I have not thought of that possibility?” Alpha Tristan is too dangerous, he himself is capable of destroying our entire pack army; he won’t leave behind even a single survivor, he will kill every wolf and pup belonging to our pack. I have the information that his pack warriors are already lurking our pack borders; Plus, the Elders council will be the first to intervene if we reject this alliance or attack Alpha Tristan at this stage.

What about Tyler in all of this?? Asked his mother, tears rolling down on her cheeks.

Luna assured her “Tyler will be released as soon as possible” please stop crying.

Mia said, “But they are mates”. She could see the hurt in Victoria’s eyes and she knew how much Tyler loved Victoria. She wanted to do something to solve the problems Tyler was facing; after all the support Tyler had been for her, maybe it was his turn to help him in his troubled times.

She realised whom she had to talk to stop all this Chaos.

I just couldn’t believe that she was actually standing here at this hour. She looked disturbed, her eyes swollen as if she had been crying for a while.

As soon as her scent filled in, Xavier was suddenly calm and curious as to what brought her to our door.

I asked, “What brings you here?”

She lowered her head and said “I am here to request you to please stop doing this Alpha”

Though she lowered her head submitting to the alpha and spoke in a low voice without making eye contact- It felt like an insult. “How dare she tells me what to do??”. It was making me and my wolf angry.

 Ignoring her question, I asked her- Where is your boyfriend, “Does he know that you are here with me ALONE in this hour?”

 She looks up half surprised, gaining her demeanour back she said “I am here for Tyler, Please let him go, Victoria and Tyler are mates”

I sign her to walk inside the room as she follows; I pour a drink for myself, getting more comfortable in my chair as say to her

 “The alliance is already made Ms Mia Wright, I don’t want any interference from her mate. Even if any I know how to eliminate it”

“How can you be so heartless?” Mia said.

Tristan was angrier now, he never expected such questions from her. He said, “Don’t challenge what you can’t handle Mia wright.” I look into her eyes and say “Why do you care?”

Why do you care about them being mates? “Is your boyfriend your mate?”

Mia was staggered by the question, yet she said “I have not found my mate”

Will you reject your mate for your boyfriend?? Tristan asked within a flash.

Mia could not believe where this discussion was leading into, she did not want to answer that question anyways, she says “ I am not here to talk about my boyfriend or mate” I am here for Tyler.

“There is nothing much to discuss about a man who will be beheaded in a couple of hours” Tristan stated as if he is already bored of this conversation.

Only a small squeal of Why? left her mouth.

Tristan walked closer to make eye contact and said: “For Victoria, as it will be difficult for her to comply with me if she had a mate and if it’s a dead mate it will make things a lot easier”.

Mia was so shocked she could not believe her ears, “How can anyone be so cruel?” she was dumbstruck unable to react. Just the thought of killing ones mate in front of them, ran shivers down her spine. Tears running down her cheeks

She only knew one thing now, that she wasn’t going that to happen with Tyler, she was willing to go to any extent to stop this from happening.

She was more adamant than before now she said “Please Alpha don’t do this to Tyler, Please. I will do anything in return”

This sentence was stuck in Tristan’s head and kept on repeating itself. “Do anything in return” he repeated. He felt his thoughts are churning inside this head.

Then I have a deal for you Ms Mia Wright??

Tristan suddenly felt like he could find a way to solve all the issues with the Elders council and his wolf.

The look on Mia’s face told him that she was willing to do anything for Tyler, it only amused Tristan more. He finally asked “Why do you care so much for him? What is he to you?”

She looked up and said “He is my family away from family. He is more than a brother that I could ever have.”

Xavier said at it as a strength that his mate had and how important Family was for her, but Tristan only gave a smirk out, he knew he found her weak spot. He now knows how to keep her tied down.
