Francis sat beside Mercy on his bed and cried his eyes out. The more he looked at her ,the more tears formed in his eyes. “Hmmm!, what a love".

Some people would have taken advantage of her right away and killed her to sustain their wealth but Francis despite that the urge to have money has blinded him greatly still finds it difficult to do it .

He laid behind her while resting his head in her chest and didn't know when sleep stole him.

Night approched with full force but both didn't know as they slept. The sleep continued till early in the morning when Mercy opened her eyes and saw Francis lieing down beside her , his head on the bed and the rest if his body on the floor.

She stood up with difficulty and looked around carefully and saw a kitchen slicing knife that Francis has intended to use and take her life the previous night.

She picked it up and examined carefully and also tried to remember if the knife was used to slice anything the previous night but she didn't remember something like that.She looked deeply at Francis face and saw traces of tears on his face. She wonders what made Francis to cry that night and also what really happened to make her dizzy all of a sudden.

The only vivid thing that she remembered before sleeping off is taking that juice Francis offered her and falling asleep on his arm. She also remembered that she wasn't feeling anything like dizzy before Francis offered her that juice .

“God, Francis wants to kill me"she concluded in bewilderment. She concluded he has an explanation to make when he wakes up and with this in,her heart, she sat down with,the knife still in her hands.
