Having had a vision of an ambush, I had alerted Alpha Egon to avoid exiting Aberdour from the west, where we would’ve run into the goons planted by Cillian.
Convincing Alpha Egon about the same was an arduous task, as I had no intentions of revealing to him my capability of predicating future through my vivid visions, something that’s bound to earn me the reputation of a witch and have my head on a pike.
By supplanting the knowledge gathered from the vision by a hunch, I was able to persuade the Alpha to avoid riding westwards. Though it is just an estimation, I reckon it is his gradually growing faith in me that assisted him in giving the necessary attention to my warnings.
