~CELIE’S POV~ Talking cheerfully, jests are bandied about freely, leaving us chuckling like fools. With tears falling from the corner of Leda’s eyes, assuring me of her having a good time. That’s possibly why I am left a little perplexed when she suddenly gapes at the wall clock and requests for me to leave, “I just got reminded of something that needs my urgent attention. Can we continue this at a later hour?” At a loss for words because of the sudden evacuation, I fail at concealing the disappointment.
