Scarcely pleased to have me back in his cabin, the Alpha questions me if I am willing to join them once again, or if I am dropping by to declare my wish to be severed from the pack. From being employed in his schemes as his pawn to becoming the object of his indignities, I have been through everything that might compel me to choose the latter. However, my situation cannot afford me the liberty to make that choice.
“I am here to resume my position as the Delta of Scarlet moon pack,” I say, keeping my head lower as I put forward the condition that'd prompted me to bring myself to the despicable Alpha’s office. “Only if you free Harriet.”
“Consider it done,” says Cillian, being unusually agreeable.
