Elena's POV
It has been over two hours since I have been running through the thick forest. Being in my Wolf form, I was able to maintain my stamina for more than two hours without tiring out despite my pregnancy.
While running, the only people I could think about were the guards in the palace. Knowing what Darian was capable of, I knew that he was surely going to s*******r them once he returned to the castle and discovered that I had escaped under their watch. He might even accuse them of being the ones who helped me escape. I pray that the moon goddess forgives me for this and does not also put the blood of those innocent guards on my head.
