It started with a fever. Then, it progressed to severe cramps and a nasty headache. I was lying on the cold floor because I was way too hot for comfort. After Vincent had walked me to my room and left, I'd lain down on my bed and had fallen asleep. Once I was asleep, I had a dream in which I saw Sky. She was bigger and her fur which was usually a dull grey had become snow white. Her eyes were turquoise colored and she had a single golden stripe across her fur.
By the time I awoke, I was a hot mess. I had a feeling that I was about to shift. I could feel Sky's spirit within me. It was so strong and it felt a lot different from before.
'It's almost time for me to leave'
I opened my eyes and found the other 'Rylee' staring at me with sad eyes.
