'Mate!' Sky, my wolf said and my jaw dropped as I continued to stare at Alpha Vincent. His scent was that of the earth, right after a rainstorm. I was stupefied by the fact that he was my mate. Chills crawled down my spine and my heart pounded frantically.
"What?" His cold voice snapped me out of my stupor.
"I-I-"
He strode towards me and grabbed me by the forearm. Then, he dragged me towards the door, his nails digging into my skin. He pushed me to the ground and glowered at me.
"Get out!" He roared. His eyes had turned red and there was a golden ring around his iris. I had never seen anyone with such unique eyes.
I stumbled to my feet, knowing that he could really hurt me if I remained anywhere around him. I took off in the direction of my new room.
