She dropped her phone, not wanting to speak to anyone at the moment as she recalled the harassment over and over again.
Why did she always have to meet jerks? She thought as she wondered how Andre was able to get Morgan Empire to where it was at that moment with such a dirty attitude.
She took off her shoes and entered her kitchen. She wanted to make different kinds of food for herself and Sia. As it turned out, food was her go to comfort. After making them, she stopped and left the kitchen to have her shower.
By the time she was done and came downstairs again, Sia was waiting for her on one of the couches.
"Don't tell me you are here to scream at me. I am not interested in listening," she said as she walked towards the dining table.
"Of course I am. I came here to scream out my lungs. You made us lose this important deal. How are you going to sleep tonight?"
"Peacefully."
“You don't say. Are you serious? Now, tell me all that happened!”
"Sia I made foods that will be enough for us to eat okay? Come, let's eat!" she said to her, not minding what she was saying.
Sia knew she wasn't willing to talk anymore and stood up to go to the dining room. Her girlfriend and partner have made quite delicious meals. She sat down and they started eating together.
"Wow, this is heavenly. I can't believe you cooked these. They are so delicious."
"That's what you should talk about, instead of those useless men.”
"I will talk about it later. For now, I just want to have fun. Enjoy your food without thinking much Sia”.
"I am already."
After eating, they did the dishes together and walked into the sitting room to talk about the latest book that was in publication.
“So it's set and we just need to distribute it. Also, I made some changes on your website that will make it easier for readers to purchase your stories without much trouble." sia said to her.
"Oh, that makes sense. Can you see if can distribute in another country? Or another state maybe that's a strong Morgan Empire rivalry? It would be so great."
"All of a sudden, you much hate that company so much. I thought you were beyond excited to work with them. What happened Sia?”
"You see, we were discussing our project and all of a sudden, the so-called president was coming for my panties from below the table. Would you believe that? I felt so mad at him that I wished I cut his manhood off." she explained to Sia.
"What? You mean Mr Andre did that?" Sia asked in disbelief.
"Yes, he did, so seamlessly. And he couldn't stop flirting with me, all through the meeting”.
"That's crazy. That means the rumor was true."
"What rumor?"
"He is rumored to be some freaking playboy, though not everyone has gotten to see that side of him, but he is rumored to like women a lot."
"I believe the rumor. It's written all over his face. How shameless of him."
"I am so sorry I should have gone with you."
"It's fine you don't have to be."
"When they called me and said it was not successful because you were rude I was really surprised, knowing fully well how much you valued the meeting."
"I wasn't just rude, I baptized their faces with my hot coffee. They will never mess with a lady close to coffee next time."
"Haha, I trust you."
“Sia, I'm sorry , I know you worked so hard to put this meeting together, and make this deal work. I'm really sorry it had to turn out this way. I was can't deal with those men, especially Mr Andre.”
“I understand well Ellen. I understand”
They then put on the television and started watching one of their favorite series as they discussed.
"So, what are you going to do now? About your lovelife, and about work? Everything seems to 1qqqhave happened all at once hasn't it?”
"I think I saw Thomas’ missed call or so... He no longer exists in my dictionary though."
"So that means there are chances of other men."
"Not at all. I want to be celibate from now, or lesbian or something like that. Ellen chuckled. I still want children though, and I'll bring them up right! So we can keep growing together.
"Really? Those are big decisions Ellen. Are you ready for them? And you'll have to be really sure they're what you want.”
"I am very sure. I've never been of any other thing in my life, than these” Ellen said, now up up pacing.
"How do you want to give birth if you don't want a man? What are the methods?”
"I just have to figure it out somehow. There's no way I am doing penetration with any goddam fool or jerk, ever”
"I know of a doctor I can talk to on your behalf. I think he specializes in those things. Giving birth without normal fertilisation."
"Exactly. I will only need some good sperm and the rest is history."
"Are you sure about this though?" she asked her.
"Sia , these men don't really care about about they do though. They don't do more than donate sperm in every platform they get so far as they are paid. To let them know how much their whatever is useless to them, I have to do this for myself. I hope your doctor is a very professional one."
"Yes he is and one of the biggest in this country. I bet you won't regret having to go through this journey with him.”
They soon began to look through the upcoming book they were working on, and Sia decided to leave to go get things done, and see how far she could go with the doctor for Ellen too.
When she got to her apartment, she opened her phone and dialed her doctor's number.
As soon as the ringing started, he picked up like he had been expecting her call.
"Hello, Doctor Jude. Thank you so much for picking up quicker than expected," she said to him.
"Oh, that's fine, I was actually looking through my phone for a moment as I had just gotten off the phone with one of my patients." Doctor Jude replied to her.
"Oh okay. I wanted to see you so I decided to call to book an appointment."
"Alright then. What did you want to see me about? Is everything fine,?”
"Yes, I am. It's actually about my girlfriend.
"Alright. I will be available for you both on Monday, at 9 am. Please come with her!"
