Footsteps pounded behind me, reflected in the rearview mirror, as cameras from the film crew all zeroed in. By the time I got home, their couple fans had blown up the internet. Even my years-old alternate account was dug up. The comment section was a torrent of abuse, labeling me as a homewrecker. Evelyn posted a picture of a wilting flower on her account with the caption: [It's okay. My love is buried deep in my heart.]  Her vulnerable demeanor attracted a wave of sympathy from fans, while my account was utterly bombarded. I never wanted to fight for anything.
