The ceremony for the dead.

SZA-gone girl Zion was the third Alpha that would grace the stage, each region would have its own ceremony. They had already begun to organize and the council would be having a meeting that all the Alpha would be attending a month or so from now to discuss placements for the alphaless packs so there would not be an increase in the rogue community. Zion tried focusing on this and the ceremony, as each pack that did not have alphas paid respect first. Afterwards, the Alpha would name everyone lost or confirmed dead. Leilani stood by his side looking a hundred percent better since Catori took her powers. He kept searching the crowd although he knew she was not there because he couldn't feel her. "It will be okay Zion," Leilani rubbed his arm. "Things will be different now that I am in my right mind." "I hope she is open to talking. She is still blocking me out. She may not show up at all." Zion looked at Leilani worriedly; he had spent the majority of his day yesterday talking to Leilani about how he intended the relationship to be with him, her, and Catori. He smiled as he felt her presence and the crowd began to stir as she approached. Everyone took a knee. Gasp and hushed voices were heard as they saw her dragging Blaine behind her on a chain like he was a pet. She held a dog collar around his neck, and both of his wrists were chained as she walked him like a dog. Even though it was a disturbing image to see, she still looked beautiful to Zion. Her hair was so radiant. And she wore a spring dress that hung loose with spaghetti straps. 'You look beautiful,' he said to her, he noticed no change in her expression though. Please rise and continue as if I am not here, she instructed the crowd. He held his hand out to Leilani as all the other alphas had their mates join them on the platform. Amber also joined him on the stage. "Hello, all Alpha Zion Black," 'Catori, I don't know how much of this I can stand for, the disrespect.' Azira was pacing back and forth. Catori rubbed the necklace around her neck. 'Arista alahris la freeze,' 'Patience Azira, we will not stay long.' Catori said to her wolf. She felt Azira calm a little, which was great. Azira was a ticking time bomb. The last thing she needed was her wolf spazzing out and gutting Zion's mate. 'Will you join us on stage Cat?' Zion mind-linked her. Catori heard Azira growl and she knew she was close to losing her s**t. 'Get your speech over with so I can go!' Catori snapped. "Mystic Moon, like everyone else, lost members that… will leave us forever scarred." He held up his list and began to read, "My father Alpha Lucas Black, and my mother Luna Rochelle." Zion began, Amber leaned over and said "My father Roger and Alicia Day." As she dabbed at her eyes, "My Uncle Omar Black and his mate Dona Black." Zion paused, "These were my teachers…" Zion's voice began to fade as Catori read the thoughts of the crowd, I hope she snaps her f*****g neck, the disrespect. He is a fool. I would have dropped that b***h like a bad habit if the Chosen were mine. He is one lucky son of a b***h if he makes that work. She is his true mate. How could he? She saved us all and the world. How could a woman have such power? Can you believe her? Why would she be with him like that? It's cruel! 'Here we go Azira' Catori warned as Tabatha made her way through the crowd toward her. "Catori, what the hell! My kids are here, have you no heart," she hissed. Catori was not sure what it was, her tone perhaps, or maybe her words. "My boys should not have to see this because-' Catori grabbed her by the neck. "Why is it that you only speak of your son, Tabatha? You left out your daughter that you f****d!" Spittle sprayed Tabatha's face as she said the words with such venom, "Blaine to get after he stabbed me in the back. Every dog needs a b***h perhaps you should join him." She squeezed her neck. "Cat I'm sorry we are friends, I just thought-" "You thought wrong I don't need friends that sleep with my enemies and the last I checked I was dead to you. Now stay the f**k away from me. The next time you approach me it better be with respect bitch." Catori tossed her and she went flying into the air, colliding with Richard. "Well Chosen," she heard a chuckle and turned to see the handsome Alpha from the day before, "it seems like you found what you were looking for," he whispered. "Did you find what you were seeking?" She asked as his smile slowly faded. "I did not," he admitted "but I still have a few places to check out." "You did not tell me your name Alpha." Before he could answer her Dorkis came up to her practically dragging Chenoa behind him, "What is this?" He demanded as Chenoa stood silently behind him. "What does it look like, father?" Catori responded calmly. "It looks like you have your brother on a leash parading him around, LIKE A DOG!" Dorkis snapped, "you are displaying our family bus-" "FAMILY! WHAT FAMILY!" She turned around and swiped her leg across the back of Blaine's legs bringing him to his knees. Yanking the chain around his neck. "He is no family of mine and if seeing him disturbs you so why did you not just let me kill him," she growled as she drew her knife, yanking his head back she held it to his throat. It was Chenoa's reaction that caused her pause. 'Khrishna!' 'It's okay Noah, I'm fine.' Blaine said to her but he was not. He was barely able to move from the pain. Chenoa did not want to be on Catori's bad side, and she knew after what Blaine did there would be no compromising with her. What she did not know was that Catori had gained access to all her powers and had evolved in a way that not even Catori herself could imagine. 'I'm sorry I can't help you.' Chenoa was torn, seeing him like this was hard, yet she would be no less angry if she were in Catori's shoes. 'You can coax her into killing me.' he suggested. 'No!' Chenoa looked up to see Catori staring at her. For a moment she saw hurt but it was quickly replaced with anger, "It appears no one remained loyal in my absence. I expected my father to sympathize with him but not you too." She hissed at Chenoa, raising the knife she slit his throat and disappeared before them. Chenoa screamed in horror. As his blood splattered across her dress. She began to shake hysterically and Dorkis grabbed her, pulling her into a hug, "it's okay Noah it's okay." He soothed rubbing the top of her head. Zion was fuming, not because of the scene with Blaine, he felt like Blaine deserved the torment, but he was pissed because when Catori disappeared so had the Alpha standing beside her. "How do you get used to that?" The Alpha said as they were transported back to Listeria, "and did you mean to bring me with you." "Of course I did, we were in the middle of a conversation before we were rudely interrupted," Catori said as she knelt beside Blaine healing his wound. "also I wanted to give you these," she walked inside and he followed watching she grabbed a towel wiping the blood from her blade. "Why to s***h his throat if you're going to heal him?" the Alpha asked. "I like hurting him if he dies. What would be the fun in that?" She answered him honestly and he chuckled, "A little sadistic don't you think?" He said as he looked around, "this place is beautiful." Catori walked to the back and then came back with a shoe box, she handed it to him saying, "Thank you and yeah but, he was my friend and I was warned I would be stabbed in the back by a friend. I didn't realize it would be literal when I was told but she turned to pull up her shirt and she showed the open wound." He cringed because it looked excruciating. "I know it is disgusting," she whispered, "Not at all Chosen, you are the world's savior, everything about you is exceptional." He traced the wound with his finger and to her amazement, the pain eased a little. She dropped her shirt as her mind began to wander to places it should not. "So he stabbed you in the back, why do they call him family, your twin, and your father?" "Because Blaine here claims to be my brother Khrishna reincarnated and he has everyone else convinced. I think he is an imposter." She walked outside and over to him, she spits on him, "and if he is I still don't care, I missed my son's first steps, and words and I lost not one but two mates. You stole five years of my life. I will never get back what he took from me. A snake in the grass!" Her eyes became watery. And without thought the Alpha reached out, "May I?" She nodded, he took the necklace off her neck and placed it in her hand the steely disposition crumbled and she looked up at him with huge tears in her eyes, "May I touch you." She nodded and he took her in his arms and she cried in his chest. 'Catori!' Zion's mind link interrupted her comfort, 'Get back here now!' 'Leave me alone Zion,' she snapped. 'Cat I get you upset and I don't blame you but we need to talk. Please I'm begging you.' Catori knew she could not avoid the unpleasant conversation she was about to have much longer, rolling her eyes she said, 'Fine Zion!' She lifted her head looking into the eyes of the Alpha once again, "I owe you a huge apology. I dragged you away from the ceremony." "No worries I'm not very big on events like that, don't really do people." He admitted with a shrug. 'We will be in the new conference building waiting on you.' Zion said, 'Fine I'll be there after I change.' She cut the link and Zion had to control his temper as he thought of her taking her close off around the Alpha she left with. "Do you mind if I change before going back?" He waved his hand nonchalantly, "go right ahead." Catori intentionally grabbed an outfit that she knew would make Zion drool. It never took much but this pair of jeans extenuated all her curves. She slid on a pair of heels and applied her makeup when she reappeared the Alpha looked her up and down. "How do you get all that-" he blushed as realized he was thinking aloud. "How do you get," he cleared his throat, "use to all these jumps?" He said in an attempt to recover. Catori knew what he meant though and looked back at her ass. Exactly the reaction she was going for. She smiled at him, wrapping her arm around his. "Shall we?' "Absolutely" they were transported back to Mystic Moon. And Zion stood in the window watching as they appeared. Catori knew he was watching she turned her back to him to look the Alpha in the eyes. "Your name?" "We never seem to be able to get to that. Oh and thanks for the sneakers I love Jordens. There is something you should know about me Chosen." He rubbed her arm with his free hand. "I don't particularly care for secrets in any of my dealings with people so I wanted to tell you that-" Before he could finish his statement Zion came out of nowhere tackling him to the ground. It took her by surprise for a moment. "Zion Black!" She grabbed his hand before he could punch the Alpha. The Alpha coughed and scooted away from him. Catori looked up and saw him joined by two other wolves and clearly, they meant business. "I'm okay brothers. It was just a misunderstanding." He said as the brothers snarled at Zion. Czar pushed forward and Catori knew all hell was about to break loose. "Please go, I will contact you later about what we discussed. And thank you." Catori said as she placed a hand on Czar's heart to calm him. "I will break him," Czar growled and Azira came forward. She looked at Czar, "Azira," "You're not worthy to speak my name. You have insulted me to the fullest extent Czar, we are done!" She growled and disappeared. "I need to speak with Zion!" Catori ordered, "But," "No buts Czar this is our last conversation." Catori placed her hands on her hips. His eyes changed colors and Zion looked at her, he reached for her and she stepped back. Catori rubbed her necklace as he gave her a longing look. He was breaking her heart and she wanted so badly to be in his arms, but how could she ever forgive this? "I wanted to discuss your plans," Zion spoke, "As far as what?" She said in a strained tone. "Moving back to the packhouse. I would like you to be near me. You returned weeks ago and we have yet to have a moment alone." Catori shook her head in confusion. "Zion there is nothing to discuss." Catori looked at him with a furrowed brow. "Don't you think we should talk?" Now Zion looked at her thinking she could not really be willing to throw all they had away. "About what, When the boys are with you they are safe, and when they are with me they are safe. What do we need to discuss?" She looked at him. 'If this motherfucker opens his mouth to say what I think he is' Catori said to her wolf. "Us," Zion said matter of factly. "Us," Catori looked at Zion with confusion. 'And there it is!' Azira snorted. "Zion there is no Us. There is you," she looked around him toward the pack house, "and a her" she pointed at Leilani. "We are no more." "Catori stop what are you saying?" "I'm saying I want you to remove your mark from my neck." Catori felt like he was staring into her soul. It was simply too much; she took another step back. "So this is where we are, this is what we have become?" "I will give you a moment to process the change. I have already started looking into other packs." She stated, "What are you talking about? Is that why you were clinging to that guy? And if you were to leave Mystic not that I would allow that to happen. You are a Silver Cre-" Catori snorted and chuckled. His mate came to stand beside him. Catori's skin began to crawl and she looked at him with disgust "Why would you think for a moment I would want to look at Chenoa and Kreis daily any more than I would want to look at you and… her." She paused, glaring at his mate. "Catori-" "Chosen to you," Catori said, cutting Leilani off. Azira was going batshit crazy in her mind. "We really got off on the wrong foot. I have no problem with you at all and I don't mind sharing a mate. I know Zion has enough love for us both." Leilani said looking at Zion lovingly. "That's the problem he for the streets. How many women have I had to look past since we mated, my sister, EMONI, and now her! Your d**k is superb Zion but it ain't dipped in gold." She huffed, she looked at Leilani frowning in disgust, she wanted to say she'd had better but she knew she would have to kill him. So she instead said, "I don't share honey. There are plenty of men that would think this ass was plenty enough," she said slapping her bottom, "You will remove the mark from my neck and I will be going to another pack." She said, batting her thick lashes at him. "Never!" Zion said firmly. "It was not a request Zion Black. You may have a week to process my request." She was about to leave when the sky lit up drawing her attention. She was not expecting the dragon lord to come diving from the sky Kreis landed sticking his landing. 'Oh s**t!' she knew if Zion was sending her through changes she did not want to deal with Kreis. He looked at her rising. Then he looked past her and for the first time, she noticed Chenoa crying as her father held her. Catori's head dropped he had come for Chenoa. It was too much pain she practically leaped, transporting to escape the torment but to her surprise, Kreis with lightning speed grabbed her around the waist he transported with her back to Listeria. They both went rolling to the floor with him on top of her. He stared into her eyes and she looked away. Reaching for the necklace she went to say the words but he snatched the necklace and tossed it across the floor. Catori stared at him in shock. And he bought his lips to hers. Everything within her said to stop this from going further but for just a moment she basked in the pleasure as his soft lips teased hers. When his hand cupped her breast she moaned. And before she got lost she grabbed his hand. Her eyes opened and tears ran out the corners of her eyes. She looked at him and he wiped her tears away, feeling every bit of her pain, "I'm sorry," he whispered "I know but you can't have us both." She said back to him. "Then I choose you." He said to her and her heart melted. Why could Zion not have said those words to her? "Noah is a wolf she is strong but she loves you I can feel it if she loses you she will lose herself." He shook his head, "so what are you are you saying?" "I'm saying that she is yours in this lifetime and you are hers." Even as she said the words tears poured down her cheeks. "And the next?" He asked her, staring at her so intensely. "In the next life, you were meant to be mine and you shall be if…" "If what?" "If you do not give her a child. If you give her a child I will never be yours." She held his chin so he could see she was serious. "I didn't know Catori, I swear I never meant to hurt you." He desperately tried to explain. She looked at him with a smirk, "you really thought you would have us both?" Catori could feel the hardness of his manhood pressing into her. "I could handle you both." She punched his arm playfully, shoving him off of her. "Boy quit playing." She laughed as he watched her. He studied her although they were mirror images they were not the same. Catori had a softness that Chenoa did not. Although he loved breaking her sister down until her hard edges melted into him. He could smell her want for him and it was intoxicating, he grabbed her foot pulling her back to him. "Catori I will play by your rules, but can we have at least one moment since we are here alone?" He said seductively, licking his lips. "She said no chump!" Blaine called out from outside where he was chained up. Kreis looked at her and she saw the raging flash as he jumped up and went storming outside. She followed slowly behind him. Kreis grabbed Blaine and started to deliver a merciless beating, "Why is he here?" He demanded to know. "He is my prisoner." She said simply as she stepped between him and Blaine, "he is disturbing my peace but I have not made other arrangements for him as of yet." "Let me take him," Kreis offered. "No no no please just kill me, Leigh, please!" Blaine begged. Kreis looked at him and then blew fire catching Blaine on fire. He wrapped his arms around her and she wanted him so bad, but not this way. "Thank you, Kreis," she said softly. "For what?" "For choosing me." She said sincerely as he pulled her to him. "I want you so bad Catori." He confessed kissing her lips again ever so softly. As Blaine rolled around on the ground screaming in misery. He sighed in frustration, "what about him?" "If I give him to you, you will kill him," Kreis did not deny this. As he stared wantingly at her. "He deserves to die." Kreis said "He deserves to suffer." Catori said, correcting him, "as I do when I see you with my sister and Zion with her," She looked away ashamed she was showing him her vulnerability. "She is nothing compared to you, he is a fool. And although your sister is a diamond I would choose you over and over again." He kissed her again and she felt the heat he made her feel. She pulled away from him although her inside was throbbing, "Kreis how about we keep your last words to ourselves." "What do you mean?" He asked as his hands wandered to her ass. He took to hand fulls squeezing. "I would not want to know my love chose another over me. Would you?" She asked him softly. He lifted her by her ass rubbing her against his hard manhood he groaned, "I don't think I can do this." He looked pained from trying to resist. It felt marvelous to Catori and she so wanted more, "Kreis" she mumbled as she felt his hand squeezing her n****e. "Just one-time baby I wanna feel you." He lifted her carrying her back inside. Chenoa stood listening to Zion and Leilani arguing back and forth. Her father was saying something to her about life in general but she had long ago zoned out. Her head was all over the place. What were they doing? What were they talking about? She needed to take a run to take her mind off of things but her name was called. She looked around, straightening her back and she walked onto the stage. "Hello," she said, clearing her throat. "I am Chenoa Oooh" she hunched over in pain. Chastity ran up on the stage along with Kevin and Richard. "Are you okay Chenoa?" Kevin asked as she held her stomach. Zion paused looking at the stage when he felt like a knife had been strapped into his gut. He fell to his knees. Looking at the stage his eyes met with Chenoa and they both knew what was happening. Chenoa looked at Kevin, her face was sweating and she looked like she was going to vomit. "I need you to give the speech for me, please!" "Of course," Kevin said as Richard lifted her carrying her off the stage. He had carried her but a few feet when she screamed out again. Digging her nails into Richard's arm. Zion growled as Leilani rubbed his back, "I will get the doctor." Leilani said but he grabbed her arm, "no" "I don't need a doctor." He said pulling himself up he struggled to make it inside the house. Once he was inside he curled up on the bed waiting for the next pain to hit. "Zion, why won't you let me get someone?" Leilani looked at him desperately. "Because this is not a pain anyone can fix Lei Lei, it is the pain of betrayal." He growled, "Now I want to be alone!" Chenoa could be heard in the room a few doors down, crying out in pain. "YOU ARE KILLING ME CAT! YOU'RE KILLING ME!" Chenoa screamed and instantly the pain stopped. Catori arched her back as Kreis took his tongue and slid it inside of her dripping-wet opening, sliding his fingers inside of her she moaned out in pleasure. He was driving her mad as he worked his tongue she held his head so he would not release her as her eyes rolled in the back of her head and her legs began to shake. Kreis reached into his pants sliding out his huge hard c**k, rubbing it against her opening and she dug her fingers into his back wrapping her legs around him. Ready to give herself to him completely when she heard her sister cry. "Oh no!" she pushed at his chest. He let out a growl looking down at his rock-hard d**k. Both of them panting but she could not. Intentionally hurt Noah. She had been caught up for a moment but she knew the pain this would cause her sister. Unlike Zion the bond between her and Kreis was different. The moment he accepted Noah their bond disappeared, naturally they would have an attraction because they were true mates, but in reality, he was no longer hers. She wished her bond with Zion worked the same. Chenoa would feel the betrayal if she took him and honestly it was the only thing stopping her. Lycans could have more than one mate which was supposed to be her so she was stuck with the bond and the pain double-sided sword. Even though they both wore his make she still felt the pain. And she was angry with Noah but not because of Kreis. They knew nothing of each other and once they were mated a bond was formed which would have drawn them to each other so she was not pissed at her for falling for him but she was pissed at her for forming a bond with Blaine after he stabbed her in the back, "I'm going to need a cold shower." Kreis looked at his throbbing p***s. Catori looked at it too. She wanted that. She pointed to the direction of the springs, and he got up to head that way, "Wait Kreis, how did you know about the necklace?" He laughed looking at her, "You are not the only one with abilities, Catori." He stood there naked and she felt her insides throbbing with need. He turned and walked toward the shower and she slid back into her jeans. Once she heard the water cut on she slid her pants on and tip-toed outside. She knelt over Blaine. She could hear his shallow breathing; he was very near death. She sat beside him as tears ran down her cheeks debating whether or not she should save him. In the end, she reached overhealing the burns. He tried grabbing her hand and pushing it away but she was stronger than him, "why won't you just let me die?" "Why should you get off that easy?" She asked him, jumping up she walked back inside. When Kreis came out of the bathroom he looked her up and down. "You should go now." He grabbed her around the waist with one arm. "The next lifetime," he whispered, sniffing her one last time. "The next lifetime," looking him in the eyes he kissed the top of her head and then transported. Leaving her alone with a feeling of emptiness. She walked back outside sitting next to Blaine. "Why didn't you just take him back?" Blaine asked her. "It's you I despise, not Noah. When she hurts, I hurt." "I don't believe that," he said to her. "What." "I felt her pain long before she called out but you did not. You heard her but you didn't feel her." Blaine said. "Bullshit, you can't feel her you're not… you're not Khrishna," Catori hissed, "f*****g fake ass imposter." Catori got up to walk away but paused as she heard him mumble something, "What did you say?" He did not answer her though, she walked back over and kicked him. Going back inside, she suddenly felt exhausted. Curling up on the all-white sofa she could sleep. She lay there awhile then finally she grabbed a pillow and made her way outside. Blaine looked at her and they shared a moment of awkwardness. She dropped the pillow beside him. He grabbed the pillow and snuggled up with it. Looking up at her, he finally snapped, What?"He snapped, and as often as she beat him you would think he would learn how to talk to people. She finally dropped down beside him, snatching the pillow, "I know you are not f*****g for real, no way I'd be that nice to you." She snuggled up with the pillow as she curled beside him closing her eyes. Seconds later, she was sound asleep. Although she looked so peaceful sleeping, he was disturbed by the sight of her so close to him. Maybe because he knew she hated him, yet she was so lonely for human comfort she chose to be in his presence. After several moments, he pulled her into his arms and she snuggled in his arms, allowing him to steal the pillow. He laughed as he thought to himself she heard what I said earlier, He said the Ichob was going to get her mean ass. The strongest being in the world and she was still afraid of a childhood monster. Oddly enough, her vulnerability just made him want to protect her more. This family is dysfunctional as f**k he thought to himself. He enjoyed the soft pillow, knowing she'd most likely beat him for taking it when she woke.
