The Trap

Scene 1 – Mansion, Early Evening

ZARA walks through the garden, humming softly. She senses something unusual — a note pinned to the gate.

NOTE:

“Meet me at the old warehouse. Alone. – E.”

ZARA’s eyes widen. She knows immediately — ELENA.

ZARA (thoughts):

This is dangerous…

But I can’t ignore it. He has to know…

She runs inside to find RAYYAN pacing in the living room.

ZARA:

Rayyan! Someone wants to see me. Alone.

He stops, jaw tightening.

RAYYAN:

Don’t go.

ZARA (determined):

I can’t hide forever. You’ve always taught me to be brave.

He grabs her arm, pulling her close.

RAYYAN (low, intense):

Brave doesn’t mean stupid.

If you go… I’ll find you. But it might not be in one piece.

ZARA looks into his eyes, heart racing.

ZARA:

Then come with me.

RAYYAN hesitates, conflicted — his instincts say danger, but his heart says she belongs with him.

Scene 2 – Abandoned Warehouse

ZARA steps cautiously inside. The room is dark, shadows stretching across the walls. ELENA emerges, smiling coldly.

ELENA:

Welcome, Zara. I’ve been expecting you.

ZARA notices ropes and weapons around the room.

ZARA (whispers):

This is a trap…

Suddenly, RAYYAN appears from the shadows, gun drawn.

RAYYAN (angrily):

Let her go, Elena.

ELENA (mocking):

Or what? You’ll kill everyone here? You can’t save her, Rayyan.

She steps closer, confident. ZARA steps back, heart pounding.

ZARA (thoughts):

Why does my heart beat so fast? Fear… and something else.

Scene 3 – Confrontation

RAYYAN steps in front of ZARA, shielding her. ELENA smirks.

ELENA:

He’s yours? How sweet… temporary, I hope.

RAYYAN’s eyes flash with emotion — rage, fear, love.

RAYYAN (gritting teeth):

She’s mine.

You touch her, and I’ll make you regret breathing.

ELENA laughs, but there’s tension now. RAYYAN moves forward slowly, every step deliberate, controlling the situation with calm precision.

ZARA (thinking):

He’s so dangerous…

And yet, he’s protecting me. Always.

ELENA pulls a knife — RAYYAN reacts instantly, disarming her but stopping short of hurting her.

RAYYAN (low whisper):

You leave her. Or I leave you behind.

ELENA glares, then retreats, disappearing into the shadows.

Scene 4 – Aftermath

RAYYAN turns to ZARA, eyes full of emotion. He grabs her face gently.

RAYYAN (softly, trembling):

Are you okay?

ZARA (tears in eyes):

I… I’m fine. Because you’re here.

He pulls her into a tight embrace.

RAYYAN (whispers):

I can’t lose you. Not now. Not ever.

ZARA (heart racing):

I don’t want to be lost either.

They kiss softly, rain beginning to fall through the broken roof — a symbol of their love surviving chaos.

Scene 5 – Mansion, Later Night

ZARA sleeps in Rayyan’s arms. He watches her, eyes haunted but filled with love.

RAYYAN (thoughts):

No one can hurt her… not as long as I breathe.

No matter what darkness follows me… I’ll always bring her light.
