I was going through the pack house looking for Alpha Aden. Hes one of the most ruthless alphas within America. He wasn't a heartless person by any means. Our packs are a couple hour drive from one another. He met his mate a couple of months ago. She was a strong warrior from Alpha Lucas pack. She was supposed to be their beta but now is a Luna instead.

I went over to garden and saw Annie. She was Alpha Aden's mate. I knew this war meant a lot to her. At a young age her parents were killed by hunters. Hunters were those who didn't believe that us werewolves were nice. They believed we would kill them because we were bloodthirsty people. When it was actually the opposite. Soon Alpha Lucas parents took her in as well accepting her as their own daughter like the one she never had.

"Annie." She turned around and gave me a small smile.

"Lu. It's been a long time since we last spoke. I'm sorry about your cotillion you were so beautiful and the entire place was breathtaking. And congrats on your wolf as well." she said giving me a hug.

"Things happen you know at least I got the opportunity to have a cotillion even if it was cut short." I told her.

"I wanted to ask you if you knew where Alpha Aden is. I need to speak to him."

"About?"

"I wanted to train within your pack. I know the strength of your pack is more then mine. And that you have vampires, witches, and other beings who can help me. He wants me and my wolf had told me before I shifted that I can be the turning point of the war." I had told her.

"I see what you mean Lu. This war is something we all aren't prepared for and is putting everyone on edge. I want you to come to our pack. Let me mind-link Aden to see where hes at."

"No need to my love." We turn to see Alpha Aden. He was tall almost as tall and built as Camden. He was older though.

"Finally I wonder where you had run off too honey." Annie walked over to where he was and kissed him on the cheek. I wanted that and I envied what they had. I have always wanted a love like that. Something that I know I won't have with Camden. He didn't want to accept our bond. And even if he didn't accept our bond I won't let our people die.

"Alpha Aden." I said and shook his hand.

"Lu Whitewater. Congrats on shifting." He said to me and nodded.

"Thank you Alpha. Your are strong warrior Lu, the soon to be third of command of your pack. Why do you need my help." He asked.

"This war is coming. We don't know when it would happen or whats going to happen when it begins. But before I shifted my wolf spoke to me. She told me that I would determine either the downfall of our world or save our world. " I told him.

"Your wolf spoke to you." he asked me looking confused.

"My wolf is a pure white wolf. I will be honest with you Alpha. I had a feeling of something coming, I am a hybrid if you hadn't smelled my scent. My other half is a witch from my father. I have been training for a long time in order to take over my mothers position as the future third of command. But I want to be able to beat that man who is coming. He will destroy everything we had built so long to protect. You have the strongest pack in all of the United States. If you decline then I will have to hide away and not be in the upcoming battle." I told him.

"Lu Whitewater. I myself will train you along with beta and vampire friend. We will all help you as long as you help us train as well."

"Thank you Alpha. Thank you so much." I told him and held out my hand to him smiling. This got us more interesting. I waved goodbye to both Alpha Aden and Luna Annie. As he said he would talk to my Alpha later. I went back inside the pack house to go tell Emerson the news of whats going to happen.

I then smell him once again.

Oh no not this again.

"Lu I know what your going to do."

"So what Camden. It doesn't matter the life of our world depends on it and you better then anyone knows that. " I told him trying to not look at him.

"You can't leave"

"Now your trying to control my life? Please don't make me fight you right now." I snarled at him. His blue eyes piercing at me making me want to fall into them.

"You are mine." He snarled back.

"I am no ones. I am my own person if you forgot." I started to walk away. But he then grabbed my hand.

"Lu you have to stay."

"No you had rejected our bond I won't accept you easily. You had broken my trust and my wolf's heart. We can't be together and you said so yourself its only a mistake and nothing more.. You don't control me or my actions as well. I am only your future third of command. I will protect my pack what it takes even if it means my life, Your only the future Alpha of my pack. Your father and I agreed to this agreement. And you have no say to it what so ever. " I told him as I looked away I felt tears coming to my eyes. It hurt that he didn't want us as if nothing changed and we were scum to him. I roughly pulled my hand away from his grip.

"Lu look-"

"Just shut up and leave me alone."

I told him as I walked away tears started to form. I couldn't deal with Camden anymore. This bond was only hurting me.

I had one thing pushing me. My will to protect those who I love.
