Let's Go Clubbing They Said!

We walked into the club. It took us close to an hour to get there because the club was on neutral lands between our land and the rival pack that was wanting to pick a fight.

"Guys this club is on neutral lands between our lands and the rival's lands." I say.

"So?" Natalie says.

"They won't pick a fight with us on human lands, Vicky." Noah states.

"Whatever, make sure you stay on high alert. Don't take your drinks from anyone, but the bartender, don't leave your drink unattended, and don't be anywhere alone." I say.

"Relax Vick. This is supposed to be a fun night for you." Jake says.

I roll my eyes. "Yes, but we also came here on business, and because of them, you know the Blood Moon Pack? Besides it's my job as your Luna to make sure nothing happens to you. I'm serious not one of you is to be alone here. This may be human territory, but this is mainly the club where wolves from many packs come to get drunk." I state in a very serious tone.

They agree, but then force me to the bar.

"Oh, and no one picks any fights, I look straight at Noah and Jake, unless they start one first."

They roll their eyes. Then, the bartender comes over and asks us we want.

"We'll take a round of tequila shots." I say.

They all look at me like I grew a second head.

I smile, "Well we have to start the fun some how don't we?"

The bartender comes back with the shots.

Noah raises his glass, "Happy Birthday Vicky!"

We raise ours in return and the rest of the bar yells back "Happy Birthday!"

I take my shot, so do they. Then, Jake orders another round.

I think they wanted a nice buzz before the girls forced them on the dance floor. I needed a buzz before I was forced on the dance floor. We took about 4 shots before we went to the dance floor. The music was so loud, if I wasn't high, I would have hated. I got tired pretty quick.

I made my way to the bar to sit down, and forgot about the rule I set about no one was to be without a buddy, because I was so buzzed. I ordered a bourbon over ice. I felt a presence behind me, just watching me. It was then I wished I hadn't drank so much. If someone attacked from the other pack right now, I wouldn't be able to defend because my reflexes would be to slow. In fact we would all be screwed, I don't know how well the guys could even defend with how screwed over they are. I went to get up to go over to the dance floor to get them everyone so we could go, but was blocked by a sturdy figure.

"Hi there cutie, what are you doing over here all by yourself?" the guys says.

I rolled my eyes internally, I was so paranoid that I thought a drunken i***t was going to attack me in front of all these others. Though from what I can sense 95% of the people in here are wolves. This dude was definitely human. Him putting his hand on my thigh snapped me out of my thoughts.

But before I could even react, a loud growl erupted out of the back where I felt the staring.

"MINE!" Erupted the wolf from out of no where.

While at the same time my wolf, Ava, screamed, "MATE!" I was not happy, I did not need a mate right now, not when there was about to be war.

He pushed by his group of friends and the group of women surrounding them. He shoved the human to the ground with such force, then ended up on the he ground with him punching him in the face, breaking his nose.

I put my hand on his back, breaking him from his fiery, so he wouldn't kill the man. My friends then finally proceeded to come from the dance floor. Jake and Noah building a wall between me and the wolf. This infuriated the wolf even more.

"Are you okay, Luna?" Jake asks, ignoring the wolf.

"Yes, I am fine."

The guy, was doing everything in his power to stop his wolf from coming out and fully transforming.

"Get away from her!" he snarled.

Noah and Jake didn't flinch.

He was powerful, must be a high rank, maybe even an Alpha. Now his friends were coming to help back him up. I went around them to the guy, putting my hand out to him, maybe so he would calm down. His eyes were going between dark black and brown.

"Luna be careful, that's the Alpha from that pack!" Noah snapped.

I removed my hand and quickly stood up. We should be going you guys. I said in a serious, but bored sounding tone. I wasn't happy now, why would the Moon Goddess pair me up with such an arrogant power hungry asshole?

Right as we left the building to walk to the truck, I heard the growl again, he was full wolf mode, not transformed, but his wolf had fully taken over.

"You have got to be f*****g kidding me?!" Marie exclaims.

"Who does this guy think he is? We're on neutral territory! Natalie yells at him.

"Do you want us to take care of him, Vick?" Noah asks.

"No, I don't want a fight right now I say. There's to many humans around that can get hurt. Hurry up and go though before he attempts to ruin my truck."

Noah backed left so fast, I'm surprised he didn't hit anyone. We left Alpha asshole standing in the parking lot seething though.

"Why did he keep following us?" Marie asks.

"Does he know who you are, Vicky?" Jake asks.

"No, I've never met him before. I'm glad Noah warned me about who he was though." I say.

"That still doesn't answer my question though." Marie says.

"He's my mate..." I mumble.

"WHAT?!" Natalie and Marie exclaim in unison.

"You heard me right." I sigh.

Everyone was silent tell we got back to the pack house.
