I was surprised that they knew each other. Granny dropped her bags and lunged after him while pulling out a sheathed knife. Covin dodged to the side.

I wrapped my arms around Granny, holding her back.

“Granny, calm down. We are staying with Covin.”
She stopped her struggle after that and turned to me.
