Hello lovely readers! I'm sure that anyone following this story has noticed that there have not been new updates in a while. The truth is, I'm having trouble connecting with these characters, and I want to give them the development that they deserve. I've decided to let this story percolate in my mind for a little while and focus on releasing The Clash of the Alpha's Ancestors. This is a sequel to my previous completed novel, "An Alpha's Inheritance," but it can be read as a stand-alone novel. The chapters of The Princess's Dangerous Betrothal will remain free while I'm releasing the Clash of the Alpha's Ancestors. The blurb for this new story is included below The feud between the Lunar and Bassette packs goes back generations, until the Goddess decided to take matters into her own hands. When the children of the rival Alphas discover they are mates, their children should be able to unite the packs. But Layla Holland was never supposed to be an Alpha, and if her parents' poison had worked, she wouldn't even be a wolf. When the father she thought was dead conspired to murder her grandfather, she finds herself becoming the Alpha in his place, but she doesn't know how to run a pack. Layla spent her life shielded from the shifter world, and now she has to figure out how to lead. Layla has her mate by her side, but she keeps him in the shadows because she's afraid of losing her authority. While Layla is torn between running a strong pack and having fun with her mate, a bad call leads to casualties in the face of another attack. To protect herself and her pack, Layla must travel to the Wolf Senate to plead her case. But everything is not as it seems and she discovers the root of the feud that led to her birth, and she might have just found a way to fix it. The first three chapters are currently available, with daily updates starting in May!
