Chapter 7 Cartoon voices filtered into the kitchen from the television in the den, and Kate found it comforting, listening to Holly giggle every once in a while at the antics of her favorite animated bear. Kate had watched enough episodes of this particular show not to worry about the content, so she went about giving her kitchen a solid cleaning, happy for a few minutes to do so without Holly asking for anything.
