As Jason turned to greet another man who was coming in the door, another insight shot into Paul’s mind. This was the first time in as long as he could remember that he’d instinctively thanked God for anything. Before Tonya died, he’d probably mentally thanked God for something several times a day. But after she passed, he hadn’t felt thankful for much of anything. Now, his ability to see his own good fortune had suddenly come back to him. He wondered what else might have returned.
