The address came through at seven in the morning. Cade was already at the kitchen table when I came downstairs. His phone was in his hand and his coffee was untouched which told me the message had arrived recently enough that he had not had time to drink yet. He looked up when I came in. "It came through," I said. "Ten minutes ago," he said. I sat down. "Where?" "The other side of the city," he said. "A building near the university. Private office space. Third floor." He put his phone on the table between us so I could read the address. "We leave at ten. The meeting is at eleven." I looked at the address. Then at the time on the kitchen clock. Just past seven.
