I worked through the night. Not because I had planned to. I had told myself I would sleep at a reasonable hour and start fresh in the morning and use the day Jett had given me properly. But the fourth connection kept pulling at me the way threads pulled when they were attached to something significant and I had learned over eleven years of this work that ignoring that pull was always a mistake.
