Rain

Rain: episoad 2: The Expadition.

As we walked through the forest, stepping and climbing over rocks and tree roots, we stumble across some bones we have never seen before. They belonged to a strange creature with legs that looked like they should belong to a dog, a head that looked like it should have belonged to a sheep, and a body that looked like it should belong to a deer.

We were staring at these bones for a good period of time, when my brother Dim told us, "Guys, what's the big mean looking creature 3 miles ahead of us, that looks like it wants to eat us for lunch?" I looked up and all I could say was, "RUN!!!" All of us started to run as it chased us through the forest, as I picked up my dog Lione, and we ran, we didn't stop running until we thought we were safe.

We ran for at least 6 miles till we didn't see it or hear it chasing us. Soon after we found a cave and ran into it to hide for the night. It was getting dark and about to get very cold. So, we set up camp in the cave, all three of us found sticks, some wheat and some dead grass to start a fire. Thank God we bought some flint while we were still in the town we were in.

My brother stated that he was hungry, and so I looked in my pack to see what we had brought with us to eat. I handed him a water and some hot dogs, and we set the hot dogs on the fire to cook. Me, Dim and Ida shared one water bottle each time we had one open. About an hour went by, and Ida asks, "what was that thing that chased us?" I answered, "I have no idea, but I really don't want to run into one again, it was terrifying.

After we talked and laughed, we were finally calm enough and comfortable enough to set up our beds and get to sleep for the night.

Me and Ida put out the fire, helped Dim set up his bed and we all lied down and went to sleep.

Before we fell asleep, Dim looked over and said something to me, I couldn't hear him, I pretended I was already asleep, and planned to ask him in the morning, it was to late to be up and asking questions at this time.
