Chapter 15:
For a lifetime, Elisabeth had no business thinking about Tina. They were two completely different people, two different time lines and different fates. Besides, Tina was a hero. Elisabeth was barely recognized by her own classmates.
There was no reason for their lives to collide. Yet, Elisabeth dreamt of her. She saw things that once upon a time Tina had seen. She felt the emotions that Tina felt.
All of this led to the immeasurable curiosity.
Elisabeth was curious and thirsty for knowledge. She suddenly wanted to know everything about Tina. So, she waited with closed eyes, patiently listening to the sound of crickets at night. Elisabeth wanted another dream.
Another link. She wanted to make a bridge over to the other side.
