"You look troubled." Emily said as if she was talking about the weather. Elisabeth looked away.
"It's a daily occurance these days."
"Hmm."
Elisabeth liked that Emily did not pry much. She wasn't like Heather. Elisabeth leaned back on the bench and played with the bottle.
"Will you have lunch with me?" Emily suddenly asked.
Elisabeth raised an eyebrow, "We have lunch together everyday. All of us do."
Emily looked down at her fingers and smiled bitterly, "Just the two of us in the Residential Division. Ezra gave me permission."
That came as a shock to Elisabeth. Although it wasn't difficult to get Ezra to agree on things, no one would approach him in the first place!
