Five Amber finally found some sleep. I stared out into the bleak darkness while I drove through the Neutral Area, a wild and hostile landscape that suddenly seemed like a safer place than the cities. Nobody was interested in the Neutral Area anymore. All the criminals and terrorists crossed the border now to wreak havoc on the cities that lay open for everybody to enter, overflowing with riches and resources unknown to those who had been banned.
