Thirty-Six I tried to remember why Manasseh had made me. His last words rung in my ears. Lead them out of darkness, Adama. He had seen it coming. Probably the only one who had understood what would be at stake for humanity. He was the devil, but he had seen the destruction coming for all of us. I tried to shut down everything. The rage, the anger, the pain. Sitting hidden in a corner, not far away from this humongous building where Prometheus was plotting to destroy this world forever. Rain fell on my clothes and drenched me from head to toe, but I shut everything out. How could I accept the death of those that I loved so dearly?
